Dear Esteemed Members of CAPEXIL,

Hope you are doing well!

We are going through unusual times as we wrestle with the spread of Corona virus. The situation is mounting on a regular basis. The next few weeks are very crucial and the full impact will be known only after some time.

The health and safety of our members, employees and other stakeholders is our top priority. CAPEXIL and we at CoA will take several measures to safeguard member interests in near future.

I assure all esteemed members of CAPEXIL that our team is working hard to ensure that every work – will continue as usual, in spite of the Covid19 pandemic and lockdown. My sincere hope is that since almost all works are online (except seminars, workshops and events), our core activities will not be impacted.We, as a team, realise that our responsibility in the domain of trade and export in particular has multiplied many times now.

I pledge to devote more time and energy to fulfil the aspirations of thousands of member in the country, further.

Extension of RCMC validity beyond 31st March, 2020

Dear Esteemed Members of CAPEXIL

We sure you’ll agree that, it isn’t an exaggeration to say that we are at war against the coronavirus and that it is a war we must win.

We are aware of the challenges faced by you in such unusual times. CAPEXIL is vehemently with you and is more than willing to safeguard member interests to the best of our abilities.

In view of the current situation and challenges from the lockdown, you may find it difficult to get re-validation of RCMCs.

Looking into the operation challenges, DGFT has issued Trade Notice No. 60/2019-20 dated 31st March, 2020 (Click here to see the notice)  wherein it has been decided that Regional Authorities (RAs) of DGFT will not insist on valid RCMC (in cases where the same has expired on or before 31st March, 2020) from the applicants for any incentive/authorizations till 30th September, 2020.

At CAPEXIL we have always kept our Members at the core of everything we do and that fundamental stands stronger than ever today. We ensure that every work – will continue as usual amidst Covid19 pandemic and lockdown since almost all works are online.We are positive that together we will be able to get through these tough times.

Appeal for donation in Prime Minister CARES Fund to fight against Corona, COVID–19

My Fellow Exporter Colleagues,

The COVID-19 pandemic marks an unprecedented time and the world is at a crisis situation. There are thousands of people dying all over the world and the effect is not only on the lives and health of the people, but also have brought the economic momentum to a much lower trajectory. With no cure, yet discovered, the only way to prevent the disease is to stay home and social distancing.
Situation like this would require support to team up with the government initiatives to scale up governmental efforts to fight this epidemic and to help those in distress.

In order to tackle with this pandemic Hon’ble Prime Minister has created a special fund PM CARES to fight against the COVID-19. The donation made to the PM CARES Fund shall be eligible for 100% deduction under section 80G of the IT Act. Further, the limit on deduction of 10% of gross income shall also not be applicable for donation made to PM CARES Fund.

At this moment, the affected people in India will need help to tide over the viral disease and in this scenario, CAPEXIL has decided to stand with our distressed fellow countrymen and actively partake in the national effort to support them at this difficult time. Even the Council official / staff are donating one day of their salary for this noble cause.

To provide much-needed relief for the people affected by the viral disease and those who are in distress, CAPEXIL as partner to Nation Building, appeal to all its Members to donate generously for this noble cause to come out victorious over the common and deadly enemy, COVID-19.

The world around us has been undergoing tough unprecedented challenges arising out of COVID-19 pandemic; which is yet unfolding; disrupting whole industry and exporter fraternity and social strata altogether. Central government and State Governments have taken up drastic measures including locking down whole country for 21 days to impede the cascading trigger impact of this catastrophe. Covid 19 has created paramount fear and alarm in the minds of one and all.

Countries across the world are grappling with containing the spread of Coronavirus through various measures such as lockdowns, travel restrictions and health advisories. They are also bringing out economic policies to assist in tiding over the crisis situations. CAPEXIL captures these advisories and the latest developments on the policy front in the world which will enable businesses to judge the impact on their operations.

In consultation with industry members, CAPEXIL is continuously compiling immediate business challenges across multiple sectors for minimising the fallout of emergency Coronavirus health measures on the economy.
