Ramesh K. Mittal

Ramesh K. Mittal runs his nearly 6 decades old family business of export of books namely, D.K. Agencies.  In 2012,  he started LiFi Publications to publish literature/fiction books.

He has been Chairman, Books, Publications  and Printing Panel of CAPEXIL since Oct. 2011 and is currently its President for the second time. He earlier served on CAPEXIL as its President from 2015–2017.

As President of Federation of Indian Publishers (2018 – 2023), Mr. Mittal took a lot of new initiatives. He is also the EC Member of the Indian Reprographic Rights Organisation and Secretary General of Afro-Asian Book Council. As the General Council Member (2019 – 2023), he supported the literacy pursuits of Sahitya Akademi, the National Academy of Letters, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India. He continues to be in the advisory role at Akhil Bharatiya Sanskrit Prakashak Sangh.

Coming to his philanthropic commitments, Mr. Mittal manages D.K. Charitable Trust, which runs two Charitable Medical Dispensaries, a Physiotherapy Centre and Leela Devi Public Library.

He has been devoted to the cause of spreading education, knowledge and culture throughout his life.

In this era of electronic resources, automation and information dissemination worldwide, websites have played a key role for nearly three decades. Through this attempt, CAPEXIL tries to put knowledge about our members’ products and services before its visitors. It is a pleasure to introduce CAPEXIL, a major Council set up by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, in 1958. Over the past 65 years, we have been serving our member- exporters. Currently we have 4,500 active member-exporters, who are the backbone of our organization and contribute over 7% of the nation’s total product exports. We are here today because of your support, and we look forward to continuing our journey together.

Our members have been bringing up issues they face occasionally and ideas to resolve them. The CAPEXIL team has rigorously followed up with the concerned departments to fix things as soon as possible.

We are confident that this website will significantly contribute to the growth of international trade in the commodities that CAPEXIL members deal in. We eagerly await your suggestions and new ideas for improvement as we strive to make it a valuable resource for trade promotion. By incorporating the latest techniques in its development, we believe that CAPEXIL is on the verge of receiving trade enquiries, which will benefit our members and excite our visitors.
